What a week of soccer!

Mike Gobboto

What a week of soccer! The English league has been live for the past 5 days and the action has been rampant. Huddersfield Town and Fulham have been officially relegated back to the Championship while the race for the top four got even tighter. With Manchester Untied losing and Tottenham, Arsenal, and Chelsea winning this week, the final weeks of the league is sure to have some nail biters.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munchin scraped by in the Pokal to advance to the semi finals. We are looking forward to this Saturday’s game against Borussia Dortmund, where the winner has a great chance to win the league this year. See you on the pitch.

We’ve Landed!!!!

Mike Gobboto

We are so excited to announce our new partnership with Soccer Post of Arrowhead.  As they go through a remodel, we have been granted access to sell our product in their store.  Keep an eye out as you stop by in the next month to see our designs and their new layout.

Looking at the day’s games, some of the European giants are back firing on all cylinders. Depay and the Netherlands cruised past Belarus 4-0, while Eden Hazard and Belgium were able to defeat Russia. The cut back Hazard did to earn their penalty kick was sublime, and well worth a view. In the last game of the day, World Cup finalist Croatia were able to squeeze a last a minute victory over the 108th ranked Azerbaijan thanks to an Andrej Kramaric strike with 11 minutes left. These games leaves us with a great feeling for what the remaining matches will bring and can’t wait for the start of Euro 2020. See you on the pitch!!

....And then there were eight!

Mike Gobboto

And then there were 8! The quarter final draw for the Champions League and Europa League happened this morning and we here at Ambitious Stryk couldn’t be more excited. Manchester United’s draw with Barcelona are bringing back memories of the 99 final at the Camp Nou; and if anyone knows how to win at that stadium, it’s Solskjaer. The all English affair of Tottenham vs Manchester City has many speculating who will prevail and how will it affect their league form. Juventus drew Ajax and Liverpool face Porto to finish off the draws.
The Europa league draw saw Napoli come up against Arsenal, while Chelsea face SK Slavia Praha. Another interesting draw is Benfica vs Eintracht Frankfurt, the latter of whom has been in scintillating form this year. Not to be overlooked is the Spanish affair of Villarreal vs Valencia, which is sure to produce fireworks.
The draws gave us an idea; make a shirt that shows how worldwide the beautiful game is. Will be available in men’s and woman’s style. Be on the lookout for our new One World One Game shirt coming soon. See you on the pitch!

What a comeback!!!

Mike Gobboto

What a comeback for Juventus!!  A Ronaldo hat trick sealed their place in the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League.  His ambitious playing style saw him in the right place for two headed goals and perfectly dispatched penalty to lift his team. It was a clear tactical master class by Juve, not allowing a single shot on goal by Ateltico.  Ronaldo said after the game that this is the mentality you need to have in the Champions League, and we here at Ambitious Stryk couldn’t agree more.  Since the beginning, we have always approached our brand with right mentality for growth and building a lifestyle brand that soccer lovers everywhere can call their own.

Not to be overlooked, Manchester City dominated Schalkeyesterday 7-0 (10-2 aggregate) to advance to the quarters as well. Today’s games look promising for action, goals, and a bit of drama. We’ll see you on the pitch!
